BIOGRAPHY
Brett Reynolds has over twenty-eight years of trial experience representing companies and individuals in litigation throughout central and south Texas. He is the President of Brett Reynolds & Associates, P.C. His practice focuses on personal injury litigation including the aggressive representation of clients in transportation and trucking litigation, products liability, auto and premises liability, life, health and accident, property insurance, toxic torts, and oil field accident litigation.
Mr. Reynolds holds the highest peer-review rating (AV) as compiled by Martindale-Hubbell. He is a Fellow in the Texas Bar Foundation and is admitted to practice in all Texas State Courts, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas. He participates in the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, San Antonio Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, and Texas Bar Foundation, as well as the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Texas.
He was born in San Antonio and raised in New Braunfels, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Southwest Texas State University with honors in 1982, followed by a law degree from Southern Methodist University in 1985. While in law school, he was awarded a position as an Associate Editor of the Southwestern Law Journal.
Mr. Reynolds has tried a variety of complex civil cases before juries in central and south Texas. Before forming Brett Reynolds & Associates in 2011, he was the President of Blakeley & Reynolds, P.C., and a shareholder for eight years at Ball & Weed, P.C., preceded by associate positions there and at the former Groce, Locke & Hebdon, P.C. in San Antonio.
His expertise includes post-accident investigations of both first party and third party claims and disputes. He has represented clients in hundreds of successful mediations as well, both during and before litigation.
